If you have received a charge from Bauer Media then this will be in relation to a competition entry with one of our radio or print brands.
All of our competitions are text to enter (single payment) and are not subscription services, there are no ongoing charges. You will not be charged unless you look to enter again in the future.
To enter you are asked to text a keyword to a five digit code, once that request has been received we then send back a billed confirmation message. We are unable to charge you unless we have received the initial entry request.
If you are the bill payer for multiple mobile numbers it may be that one of those numbers has interacted with one of our competitions and why these charges appear on your bill. We are always very clear in our terms and conditions that you must have the bill payers permission before entering.

As per the terms and conditions on entering you agree to receive the free marketing messages by text relating to the competition. These are free messages and you can opt out of these at any time by replying STOP to the message. There is no charge for texting stop but there is a cost of one standard network rate message from your mobile operator.
